About Me

Jo Ann Elig
I grew up in Cincinnati, OH where I received my art education and worked as a commercial artist. After moving to Warwick, RI, I joined the Wickford Art Association. I've shown my work in numerous open juried shows, the Spring Bull Gallery in Newport, and the Warwick Art Museum. My work is predominantly in oils, focusing on the beauty of the Rhode Island landscape in addition to an interest in still lifes and portraiture.
