Narragansett Beach Path

I was at Narragansett Beach with my group of plein air painters in the spring before the beach opened to the public. This path was so inviting I had to paint it. It is an oil painting measuring 9" x 12".

Fennel

Fennel is an oil painting on canvas. 8" x  8" unframed.

Fishy

Fishy is a 9" x 12" oil on gesso board. It was painted at the Roger Williams Botanical Gardens.

I am just getting around to posting this 6"x 6" oil on gesso panel. It was painted right after doing the View from Green Bridge. I do not know the name of this water way. It flows into the ocean under the Green Bridge. I will find out soon and rewrite this when I do.

Fall Squash

I enjoy painting fruits and veggies during the winter. This is a 6" x 6" oil painting on a gesso panel.

View from Green Bridge : Newport RI.

This painting was done recently with my plein air group while we were in Newport along Ocean Drive. This drive is a spectacular drive with views from small coves to ocean rock beaches. We have been going there each week while the weather is holding out. Oct. has been warm making up for all of those rainy days during the summer when we painted indoors.
 It is painted in oil and measures 24" x 8" .

Watson Farm Sheep

This spring I painted these sheep while visiting Watson Farm on Jamestown Is. It's size is 5"x7"  oil on panel.

This painting was done on a beautiful fall day when I was at Watson's Farm which is located on Jamestown Is. It measures 8" x  24"  painted on  canvas using oils. SOLD

Santa at Beavertail Light

I went to Beavertail Light House yesterday which is located on Jamestown Is. in Rhode Island. I saw this guy who looked like Santa on his vacation sunning himself on the rocks there. I did a fast painting of him and hopefully he never realized I was painting him. You know how Santa likes his privacy. This painting is a 6" X 6"  oil on panel.

Laura's Garden

My friend Laura invited our painting group to enjoy and paint her lovely garden. I chose this humming bird feeder. No, that is not a real bird on top. It's part of the cute feeder. This a oil painted on a 6" x 6" panel.

Lily Pond

My plien air group painted at a small lily pond on a hot humid day. I luckily always take my umbrella. This a bit larger painting for me. It is an oil on panel measuring 12" x 24".

I was in Narragansette which is located in South Counties when I painted this 8" x 10" oil on panel. I was with my plien air group. We have so much fun painting together I look forward to our once a week gathering.

Spring Flowers

This painting is a 6" x 6'' oil on panel. I found out roses are a bit of a challenge. I think most flowers are but that's what makes them fun to paint

Eat This not That

 I had just the oranges posing but I felt it needed something. My friend Natalie threw some candies next to them and I said why not. It's a  6" x 6" oil painting.

Purple Eggplant

 

I had some samples of William Morris wallpaper and I thought this eggplant looked so luscious sitting on top of it. I was called to paint. It is an 8" x 10" oil painted on a panel.

My sculpture was chosen to exhibit at the Warwick Museum of Art, "Celebrating RI Women in the Arts" exhibition. Opening Thursday March 8, 2012
